Kimberly Strong, FRSC, is a Professor and former Chair of the Department of Physics at the University of Toronto. She has 30 years\u2019 experience in atmospheric remote sounding for studies of ozone, climate, and air quality, and has been working at Eureka since 1999. \u00a0She is one of the founders of the Polar Environment Atmospheric Research Laboratory, was Deputy PI and Theme Leader for the PAHA (Probing the Atmosphere of the High Arctic) network, and is the current PI for PEARL.\u00a0 Her research interests include urban, Arctic, and planetary atmospheric science, long-term measurements of stratospheric and tropospheric trace gases, satellite validation, and laboratory spectroscopy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
